Jagdamba Fabrics ("we", "us", "the Company") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal data we collect through jagdambafabrics.com, why we collect it, how it is stored, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

We collect personal data only when you submit it to us. The site has two forms:

• Sample request form — name, email, phone (optional), the brand house you're interested in, and any message you choose to send.
• Catalogue download form — name, email, phone (optional), and company (optional). Submission unlocks the PDF download.

We also automatically record the page URL the submission came from and, on the server side, your IP address and browser user-agent string. This is used for abuse prevention only.

We do not run third-party advertising trackers. If we add anonymous usage analytics (e.g. Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation), this notice will be updated and a cookie banner will appear before any non-essential cookie is set.

2. Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a swatch packet.
• To follow up on a downloaded catalogue with sample availability and pricing.
• To prevent spam and protect the form endpoints (rate-limit by IP).
• To improve our products, services, and customer communication.

We will never sell your data, share it with marketing brokers, or use it for any purpose unrelated to your enquiry.

3. Where it is stored

Form submissions are written to a private Google Sheet owned by Jagdamba Fabrics. A copy of each submission is emailed to [email protected]. Google's infrastructure (Workspace + Apps Script) is the data processor; we are the data fiduciary.

We retain submissions for the duration of an active enquiry plus 2 years for follow-up. After that, records are deleted on a rolling basis.

4. Your rights under the DPDP Act

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Confirm whether we hold personal data about you.
• Access a summary of the data we hold.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request erasure (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
• Withdraw any consent you've previously given.
• Lodge a grievance with the Data Protection Board if we don't respond within 30 days.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "DPDP request — [your name]". We respond within 7 working days.

5. Cookies

The website uses one functional cookie for the cookie-consent banner state. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set by default. If we add web analytics in future, you will be asked to consent before any tracking cookie is placed.

6. Children

This site is a B2B textile mill — its content is intended for adult buyers and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age.

7. Security

Submissions travel over HTTPS only. The Apps Script endpoint validates inputs, rate-limits by IP, and uses a honeypot to drop bot submissions. The destination Google Sheet is access-restricted to authorised Jagdamba Fabrics personnel.

8. Updates

We may update this page from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Significant changes will be flagged on the homepage for 30 days.
